WEEK 1

THINK: WHAT IS MY TASTE AND WHAT INSPIRED IT?

Before being asked this question, I had never thought about my taste carefully. When I consciously searched for artworks and designs that I like, I found that they have a variety of styles and cultural backgrounds. They look very different, except for one thing, that is, they all contain strong emotions, or can clearly convey a certain thought or state of the author. I like to experience the author's psychological activities through a work. For example, Kandinsky, an artist I particularly like, although his paintings do not look like any real objects, they give me an intuitive feeling and even make me feel music in my ears. Or maybe it is some particularly magnificent and exquisite buildings in the Middle Ages, and it is easy for me to imagine how the architects and workers who designed them pursued the ultimate and lost themselves. I will be moved by the emotions contained in such works, as if my soul is in their shells.
